Autumn cirrus clouds stretching across the dawn sky

This morning, shortly after dawn.
When I stepped outside, the sky was filled with fish-scale clouds.

Layers upon layers of small clouds stretched all the way to the horizon. As I looked toward the rising
sun, the light streaming through the gaps in the clouds was gradually turning the sky a golden hue.

Scaly clouds are one of the sky’s sights that make me feel the arrival of fall.
As the seasons change, the colors of the rice paddies, the morning air, and the clouds floating in the sky all transform.

Even though it’s a view I see every morning, I’ll never encounter the exact same sky twice.

Today, too, was a beautiful start to the day.
