A small sunflower has bloomed.
The sunflowers I planted near the front door have finally bloomed. It’s been only about two weeks since I planted them
. I’d been thinking, “I guess it’ll be a while yet,
” so I was a little surprised when I saw them this morning.
The yellow petals are as bright as the sun, instantly brightening up the entrance. They aren’t huge sunflowers, but that makes them all the more charming, and every time I come and go, they catch my eye and lift my spirits. Looking
at the photo, I can see not only the flowers that are already blooming but also many buds that are about to open. It looks like they’ll be blooming one after another for a while, which I’m really looking forward to.
When I’m working on the farm or tending to the garden, I’m often amazed by how quickly plants grow. Especially this time of year, the scenery seems to change day by day.
Even on busy days, just glancing at a single flower blooming by my front door soothes my heart a little. I’m looking forward to
watching and seeing just how many more flowers it will produce.
A Quick Note
“A little bit of summer has arrived right by my front door. 🌻”
